The Dept. of Agriculture and Industries, General Services Section provides services and support for the other divisions and sections in Agriculture and Industries. These services include the maintenance and disposal of all automotive vehicles owned by the department. The Shipping Point Inspection Division, and the Meat Inspection and Egg Inspection sections of the Animal Industry Division are funded from different funds than others. Whenever one of those entities needs repairs or auto supplies other than gas or oil, the General Services Section purchases them using regular department funds. Monthly Reports of Auto Supplies Issued to Special Funds are then sent to the Accounting Section to advise that section to charge the appropriate special fund account and reimburse the regular department fund account. An advisory copy is also sent to the affected division. The records contain the name of the division or section being charged as well as the date and type of service or supplies purchased, the amount due, and the signature of the General Services supervisor.
